The head bolts to the top face of the cylinder block over the head gasket, forming the upper part of each combustion chamber and carrying the valve seats and valve guides. Valve guides are fitted; valves, springs and the remaining valve train are not included. Replace the cylinder head bolts and gaskets when fitting.
