It strongly resembles Dyckia hebdingii in general aspect with many leaves in a dense 12 inch rosette. The color is light green with a coating of silver trichomes. The marginal spines are short and serrate. In nature this plant lives on exposed rocky outcrops with little soil, in full sun.
