This striker will add some nice notes to your yelps, cutts, and purrs. Topper woods change the weight of the striker which in turn change the sound the call will produce with a given combo type. This striker has a Bubinga Rosewood top which makes it slightly heavier. This will make the call sound deeper on tone. The shaft wood is hickory which grips all surfaces well
