Our review of feeforservice claims for services eligible for Proposition 56 supplemental payments found that DHCS had paid a total of nearly $380,000 for 10,100 services claimed by 14 providers that were listed on state and federal lists of ineligible providers, as Figure 5 shows.DHCS told us that a small number of these claims could be allowable under certain circumstances, such as when a providers suspension did not apply to services at all locations where the provider operated
